What's on Stage
The British public: they decide who's got the X-Factor, who's a Pop Idol, who's Got Talent, and sometimes they even express an opinion about who should run the country. Coming up with an idea for a piece of theatre should be a doddle.
That's what Rachael and Lisa thought as they went onto the streets to ask what their new show should be about.
What people said was funny, heartfelt and sometimes jaw-dropping. Asking the public to write their show seemed to be a great idea but slowly they realised that something was happening that neither of them could have predicted; something very strange indeed...
Following a national tour, Lisa Hammond and Rachael Spence bring their extraordinary new show to the Young Vic this summer.
