Tours

We are happy to give backstage tours to our local schools.

We are a working theatre so we cannot always show groups all areas all the time, but most tours will include visiting at least one of our stage spaces, the dressing rooms, wardrobe and offices. It is harder to show the technical elements of the theatre to groups of students, but if you have a specific interest in lighting and sound it may be possible to arrange a special session.

It is also possible to follow up a tour with a talk given by members of Young Vic staff. This can be tailored to suit your interests and might be from one of several departments including box office, front of house, marketing or the production team who work backstage during shows.

The tours and talks would normally last between 45 minutes and an hour. If you would like to book one, please email schools@youngvic.org with all your contact details.
