Community productions

The Young Vic regularly produces large-scale community productions that are produced alongside a professional theatre team.

In the past, these have been everything from community opera (Tobias and the Angel) to a devised theatre production (Ma Vie en Rose) to an outside street carnival production (Festa).

Furthermore, we also sometimes ask our local community to be part of our other productions, such as the chorus for thrilling crowd scenes in Julias Caesar to the New York street children in Street Scene.
