We’re looking for a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our busy and successful theatre.
Based on The Cut in Waterloo, we produce new plays, classics, musicals, adaptations of books, short films, digital projects and more. We attract large audiences from many different backgrounds; we have deep connections in our neighbourhood where we provide extensive free activities. For many years the theatre has been synonymous with staging international works created by some of the world’s finest directors, performers and creatives; productions that say much about the world we live in.
We need to raise £1.6 million per year to fund this work. We’re looking for a resourceful Trusts and Foundations Manager who will take the lead in securing gifts from Trusts and Foundations by seeking prospects, cultivating relationships, writing applications, receiving funds and preparing evaluation reports. You will have a proven track record of approaching grant makers and have strong writing skills.
We actively encourage people from a variety of backgrounds with different experiences, skills and stories to join us and influence and develop our working practice. We are particularly keen to hear from people of colour and candidates who self-identify as disabled. All candidates who self-identify as disabled who demonstrate that they meet the essential criteria will be invited for interview. The Young Vic is committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, caring responsibilities, disability, gender, gender identity, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and sexual orientation.
