We’re looking for a Head of Neighbourhood Theatre to join our busy and successful theatre.
Based on The Cut in Waterloo, we produce new plays, classics, musicals, adaptations of books, short films, and more. We attract large audiences from many different backgrounds, we win major awards, we have deep connections in our neighbourhoods and we take shows to the West End and New York. Recent shows include Yerma, The Brothers Size, The Jungle and The Inheritance.
This is an opportunity to join us and work at the heart of the Young Vic’s Taking Part team. You will have experience of working with diverse adult communities and a passion for creating work and experiences with and for people who may not think theatre is for them.
We actively encourage people from a variety of backgrounds with different experiences, skills and stories to join us and influence and develop our working practice. We are particularly keen to hear from people of colour and candidates who self-identify as disabled. All candidates who self-identify as disabled who demonstrate that they meet the essential criteria will be invited for interview.
Apply by: 9am on 25 June
First round interviews: 2 and 3 July
