The Young Vic is looking for an experienced, proactive and collaborative individual to lead on the management of our building and our visitor experience.
A registered charity and theatrical powerhouse, the Young Vic is synonymous with inclusivity, accessibility and creativity. We create performances that catalyse debate and are priced accessibly for our audiences, giving 10% of tickets away to those who experience barriers to engaging with the arts. We are deeply rooted in our local communities of Lambeth and Southwark, through Taking Part, at the same time as being internationally recognised for productions made with the world’s finest performers and creative teams. We are also proud to develop the next generation of emerging talent through our Directors Program.
About the role
The Head of Theatre Operations is a Senior Management role and holds responsibility for theatre management, including our building, people and visitors, environmental sustainability, and forward planning on capital expenditure as it relates to our building and front of house operations. This role is key in proactively identifying challenges for our staff and visitors in their use of the building and providing inclusive solutions such that all those who enter our premises feel safe.
We are keen to hear from candidates that have a strong track record of managing Health and Safety in a busy venue and who are committed to providing anti-racist environments for all who enter our spaces.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
