From the plays we produce to the way we produce them and in all the other work that we do, we'd like to think there's something at the Young Vic that would interest everyone.
If you live or go to school or college in our home boroughs of Lambeth or Southwark, there are opportunities for you to get involved with the life and work of the theatre. All of this work is created by the Taking Part department at the Young Vic.
Our Taking Part programme enables 10,000 young people and local residents to see productions and to participate in a range of workshops, performances and training schemes. Our work is focused on three key areas: Schools and colleges, young people (aged 8 to 25) and our Two Boroughs project for local residents.
With the company based in the heart of Lambeth and Southwark on The Cut, we have more opportunities than ever to work with young people and engage with our local community throughout the year. Central to our philosophy is the ability to offer all our activity for free. This is made possible by generous support from many organisations and individuals.
If something you see here interests or inspires you, then please get in touch.
