Draw Me Close

Event has passed

Draw Me Close blurs the worlds of live performance, virtual reality and animation to create a vivid memoir about the relationship between a mother and her son, in the wake of her terminal cancer diagnosis. Weaving theatrical storytelling with cutting-edge technology, the performance allows the audience member to take the part of protagonist and experience life as Jordan inside a live, animated world.
‘Mind officially blown. Unlike any experience I’ve ever had’ Huffington Post
‘An emotional and technologically brilliant experience that takes the concept of immersion into new heights’ Mashable
The experience is by award-winning playwright and filmmaker Jordan Tannahill, in a co-production between the National Theatre’s Immersive Storytelling Studio and National Film Board of Canada, in collaboration with All Seeing Eye, with illustrations by Teva Harrison
Audience Members will experience this immersive and intimate performance individually in a series of approx. 1 hour timeslots, running throughout each day. Due to the unique nature of this presentation, single tickets are available to buy one at a time.
