Yi Gao
Yi Gao is a London-based theatre designer from China and a 2025 Linbury Prize Recipient. She graduated from UAL Wimbledon College of Arts with an MA in Theatre and Performance Design. With a background in urban design, her cross-cultural practice spans the UK and China, exploring power, human nature, and social structures through visually led and interdisciplinary performance. Works include: Aboard the Raft of Medusa; The Visit; and Soong Mei-ling Lost Her Earring.
