Sundown Kiki Artwork Portrait

Sundown Kiki Broadcast

Creative Direction by Jay Jay Revlon
Directed by Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu

Thu 11 Nov, 7:30pm GMT

Watch our Taking Part sold-out production of Sundown Kiki live from the comfort of your own home.

Filling the Maria with sequins, celebratory togetherness, and a healthy dose of shade, Sundown Kiki will bring the world of theatre and ballroom together in an explosive evening of music, dance, walking, and partying.  Created with and performed by Queer young artists from the Global Majority, Sundown Kiki will be a bold celebration of Queer South London in all its glory.

The show will be streamed live via Zoom and will be captioned.

Show Warning
Please note that the show will contain loud music, sexually suggestive movement and language that may include references to homophobia, racism, transphobia, as well as discussions of gender and identity, sometimes in the context of race, class, social inequity and privilege. Please note that the performance does not include gratuitous strong language and that any strong language in the performance has been used because it is a term that may be taken as a slur in every day conversation, but is common and non-offensive parlance within the ballroom scene.

Sundown Kiki is supported by the Embassy of Spain.
