Our Participation Associate Producers will support the work of the Participation Producer in the curation and creative delivery of our Let's Talk programme which includes preshow events, a panel talk and networking event. You will get the chance to engage in monthly masterclasses to develop skills in producing and creative engagement work whilst putting those skills into practice with your team.
Our Participation Associate Producers will:
- Participate in a bespoke programme of producing Masterclasses.
- Co-Curate a range of bespoke pre-show meets tailored to our mainhouse productions.
- Co-produce an in-person panel talk and networking event.
- Provide support before and during workshops to ensure they have information needed, refreshments and materials for workshops and events
- Liaise with the Participation Producer and Young Vic team to support the work around the Let's Talk Programme.
Participation Associate Producers Programme Eligibility:
- Aged between 18-25.
- You must live in Southwark or Lambeth.
- You must have the right to live and work in the UK.
- You must be able to commit to the project dates from our schedule here
- The willingness to have a DBS Check.
Skills required include:
- An interest in producing workshops and events for people ages 16-25.
- Some experience with Microsoft Office such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
- A commitment to accessibility and inclusion within the arts.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
- A desire and willingness to learn.
- Understanding of confidentiality around personal data.
Please note: you do not need to have any previous experience in producing. We require a keen interest and willingness to learn.

Fee:
You will be paid the London Living Wage (£13.85 per hour) for the hours worked to take part in this programme. This will be paid monthly. Based on the schedule, we expect the total fee should average £747.90.
Please note: Workshop and event hours may vary depending on programme needs. Any changes will be discussed in advance, and expectations regarding hours will be communicated clearly to the Participation Associate Producer. Adjustments will be made in good faith and with prior agreement wherever possible.
