LEARNING FREE TICKET SCHEME

Our Learning Free Ticket Scheme exists to make sure that pupils and students in our home boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark studying GCSE or A Level Drama have access to live professional theatre. The scheme is open to all secondary schools, alternative provisions and learning centres within Lambeth and Southwark. If your school setting does not offer GCSE or A Level drama, you are still eligible for tickets. We want all our local schools to have regular access to the Young Vic’s full programme.

If you are not sure whether your school is on the scheme, please check with the Drama, Performing Arts or Inclusion department in your school.

If you have a Drama or Performing Arts department, usually, Heads of Drama or Lead Drama teachers sign up to the mailing list. We ask for one point of contact and for that person to then share our opportunities with other departments or teachers as necessary. If you do not have a Drama or Performing Arts department, usually a Head of Year or the Head of a Humanities department will be our main contact.

If you are a Head of Year or have pastoral and inclusion responsibilities and would like to sign-up to access bespoke opportunities as well as free tickets for your students, please do get in touch.
