Can you describe your character in Bull in three words?
The Grim Reaper.

What are you usually doing 10 minutes before the show begins?
Intensive aerobic and vocal calisthenics or eating my dinner.

What is your favourite play (seen, read or worked on)?
seen – Madness of George III; read - Hamlet; worked on - The Pillowman this year: seen – People Places and Things; read – Hangmen; worked on – Bull!

What is your favourite midnight snack?
Beer and Twiglets.

If days were 28 hours long, what would you do with the 4 extra hours?
Write that bloody novel.

If you could be in a room full of any one thing, what would it be?
Puppies.

Favourite holiday you’ve ever been on?
African Safari.

Favourite city and why?
London. I’m from it - you can’t beat it.

What is your favourite song?
You Can’t Judge a Book By It’s Cover – Bo Diddley

If you could have been born in any era, which would it be and why?
Vienna in the 1800s. All that strudel and swanning about.

If you could have any one supernatural power which would you choose and why?
Invisibility. I could sit naked in a Cabinet meeting and no-one would ever know.
