A headshot of Jay Jay Revlon

Jay Jay Revlon

Jay Jay Revlon's creative practice centers on event curation, DJing, hosting, and voguing, with a strong focus on community building and representation for QPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. As a pioneer of the London Ballroom scene for over a decade, he has worked tirelessly to establish safe, inclusive spaces for self-expression and to grow Ballroom culture in the UK and beyond. Jay Jay serves as Overseer of the UK House of Revlon, Overall House Father of the Kiki House of Maison Laveaux, and founder of the Kiki House of Tea, playing a key role in expanding the community in the UK and Spain.

His creative achievements include being named one of Time Out’s “One to Watch” and receiving a two-page feature in British Vogue (November 2021). Jay Jay has collaborated with major cultural institutions such as Tate Britain and the Southbank Centre, leading workshops to educate and inspire audiences about Ballroom culture. Internationally, he has worked as a creative director with the Young Vic Theatre and the Hetrick Martin Institute in New York.

Jay Jay has also partnered with leading brands including Coach, G-Star, Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, and Netflix. Notable commissions include DJing for London Fashion Week After Party, the Brit Awards After Party, and Sydney Mardi Gras. His performances have graced iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, PACHA Ibiza, and Annabel’s, with features on platforms including BBC Radio and Boiler Room.

Now at a pivotal point in his career, Jay Jay is ready to take the next step in expanding his creative practice. With this first exhibition and a strong foundation behind him, he seeks opportunities to reach new audiences, push creative boundaries, and continue building a legacy of empowerment and innovation within the creative and cultural sectors.
