The highly-anticipated production of Shakespeare’s great tragedy, with Cush Jumbo (The Good Wife, The Good Fight) making her YV debut as a new kind of Hamlet. Jumbo reunites with her long-time collaborator, director Greg Hersov, to bring us this tale of power, politics and desire.

  • Are tickets for Hamlet still available?

    Currently, there are no more tickets available for our rescheduled production of Hamlet. Please join our mailing list to hear about future ticket releases. 

  • What are the new dates for Hamlet?

    If you have already bought tickets for Hamlet, you should have received an email or letter from us with details of your new performance date and instructions on how to confirm your new date. Please check your junk folder, and if you haven’t received anything, contact the Box Office team at boxoffice@youngvic.org, quoting your order number. 

  • I haven’t received an email or letter with a new Hamlet date

    If you have not received an email or letter stating your new Hamlet date, if could have landed in your junk folder. If you can’t find it, please let us know by contacting the Box Office team at boxoffice@youngvic.org.

  • My circumstances have changed, and I can’t make my new Hamlet date

    If you are unable to attend your new date, please let us know by clicking the ‘Secure my Booking’ button in the initial email that we sent you, and then click the ‘Request Change’ button. This will update your booking and let us know to get in contact with you to rearrange your date. 

    If you can no longer attend our rescheduled production of Hamlet, our Box Office will be able to help you with a refund, credit voucher (valid for 18 months from the issue date), or donate the value of your tickets. 

  • Why can’t I see a seating plan?

    One of the things that makes the Young Vic special is that we completely transform our spaces to suit the unique design of each production. When we put a show on sale, you can buy tickets across different price zones, then when the seating design is confirmed closer to the time, we allocate your seats. We will be in touch with you to confirm your seat number(s) as soon as we are able. Our total auditorium capacity will be in line with UK Government social distancing guidance at the time of performance.

  • Will this production be socially distanced?

    Hamlet will be performed in line with official government guidelines in place at the time. We will adhere to our Covid safety policies to ensure your experience is as enjoyable as possible.
